Artisans and Our Mission
The Boileau family immigrated from Canada to the USA in the mid 1990's. A & A Glassworks LLC had its beginnings in 1999 as a hobby turned business in their basement studio in Wisconsin. With professional careers in engineering and nursing by day, the owner / artisans began creating personalized glassworks by night for others sharing an appreciation for glass art. |
Experience
Our training began in 1999 with a series of classes by local stained-glass artists. Our glassworks today have been sold at local art fairs, craft stores, a flower shop, websites, and an art gallery as well as to friends and family. Our product materials are sourced in the USA as a policy whenever possible. All glassworks tend to be a collaborative effort. Andre and Annette are both versed in multiple glass making methods. Andre has now retired and can devote his time to the business on a fulltime basis. Glassworks are produced using the Tiffany or copper foil method, fused glass, and lead came techniques producing individual panels up to 60" long by 18" wide. |
Style
"ONE OF A KIND" glassworks to meet your individual taste and style. We fill a void for those who may need a single panel for a renovation project around the home. We design our products but can use provided patterns from other sources within copyright limitations. Our home project portfolio includes everything you may need from cabinet door inserts, custom sun-catchers, gifts, room dividers, bar signs, and panel insets for furniture. Some of our glassworks use fused glasswork inlayed within a stained-glass panel to add an element of depth. Our greatest satisfaction is to build glassworks that your imagination desires. |
